I never understood this. Why would a girl who survives paycheck to paycheck and lives in the projects go out and buy a $1200 LV bag? I laugh when I see this. Who do they think they're fooling? I overheard some woman on line at the store the other day talking about how she's going to pay the rent late this month because there's a pair of those red bottom shoes that she wants and they cost $800. First of all, there are knock offs (fakes) or cheaper versions of these things. I don't think these people are buying REAL bags.

What I see more of are low income people who dress their kids in Nikes, Derrion or whatever ghetto labels are in right now (Roche Wear) and the clothes are UGLY. Not everyone has the same lifestyle. Obviously buying a bag before rent is bad, but spending over $100 isn't wasteful. My aunt has a coach bag from like 1986 that is still going strong.
