To-do lists For as long as I can remember, I have been my go to when it comes to keeping my sanity in check Cleaning the house becomes a pages-long checklist of every menial task I can think of (dishes become.: wash dishes, dry dishes, put away dishes; cleaning the bathroom becomes:. scrub toilet, clean shower,cappelli last kings, wipe counter,escarpins louboutin, clean mirrors,louboutin boutique, hang pretty towels, organize medicine cabinet, etc) I've even been known to add a chore that I completed on to a list, just so that I can check it off! Hey, I did it-I should get a little recognition! I think that it's a coping mechanism of sorts. The more things I can check off of a list, the more accomplished I feel. There was a post I wrote on Facebook a while ago that still I still get all up in arms about. When we first got engaged, Mr. O bought me lots of wedding magazines for the drive home from the coast. I tore through them, so excited that I was really planning a wedding, but one article in particular caught my attention. The good folks at the Knot had taken the time to write a to-do list for me-and one for Mr. O, too!

Notice a discrepancy Yeah, grooms,peuterey donna nuovo, your list runs a whopping 10 tasks (one of which is just "be her rock." Ummm.). Brides 119 tasks in all of their overwhelming glory. Interestingly enough, "be his rock" is conspicuously absent! I digress.
After taking their bride's to-do list and multiplying it by what felt like one hundred (remember,moncler doudoune, every seemingly easy task they had,louboutin femme escarpin, I compulsively broke down into a bunch of tiny to-do's), I was officially looking at the first ever to -do list that looked entirely unconquerable to me. It went on and on,louboutin chaussures, and no matter what we accomplished, it did not seem to shrink much at all before growing again. Somewhere along the line of trying to check things off the list,abercrombie soldes, I became obsessed with finding a card box It's the most inconsequential of tasks, and I think that's why I latched on to it I had a loose idea of what I wanted:.. something rustic, maybe a weathered / natural-looking / wood chest / suitcase / box. I spent a lot of time rummaging around stores looking for the perfect card box, but everything we found that might work was rejected for one reason or another.

It began to feel like if I could not find a damn card box,sac longchamp pliage, how could I ever possibly conquer my to-do list or-gasp-make this wedding happen at all ! Mr. O started questioning my seemingly out of the blue obsession with card boxes. If this sounds dramatic,louboutin noir, that's because it totally is. This was not rational-behavior wedding-planning crazies,vendo woolrich, y'all.
The answer to my card box conundrum fell in to my lap last week,hogan online, when we were registering (!!!) at Target. Doing our registry was another task that I've been dying to check off the list. There, in their home goods section,hogan scarpe interactive donna, clearance aisle, was our card box. It was on clearance for $ 14.00,scarpe hogan, and had a pretty significant crack (easily fixed) which gave us an extra 10% off. It's got the rustic feel we were looking for,peuterey wiki, adds in a little trendy chalkboard flare and will definitely be well used in our home after the wedding-it's perfect! The wood is a lot darker than it looks in the following pictures, which I really like. Sorry for the poor phone-pic quality, but here she is!

I can not tell you how good it felt to check this one tiny to-do off of my list. As we inch our way closer to the big day (almost five months away!) It feels good to be back on a roll and getting things done, no matter how insignificant those "things" may be
